One of the main points for online analysis is the sampling procedure.
To optimize the sampling for each application different sampling units are available.
Backwash Strainer Sample Pretreatment Unit
- Simple and effective sampling unit for one, homogenous and low contaminated sample
stream Sample passes through the strainer into a sampler to supply to the analyzer
- After sampling, air pushes the sample out of the sampler to prevent adhesion of
contaminants and acts to back wash the strainer to prevent the strainer from clogging
- Required sample flow rate: 1 to 3 L/min
Single Stream Suspended Solids Pretreatment Unit
- Perfectly designed for analysis of one sample stream with suspended particles
- After particles are removed by the strainer, the homogenizer homogenizes the suspended
solids to obtain stable measured values.
- For Sampling the sample passes through the strainer into a sampler, where the sample
will be homogenized. After homogenizing the sample is passed to the analyzer
- After the sampling, the sampler will be completely rinsed with rinsing water to
prevent contaminants, slime and algae problems
- Required sample flow rate: 2 to 5 L/min
Multi-Stream Suspended Solids Pretreatment Unit
- Sampling works similar as above described
- Up to 6 sample stream switching is possible
- Different types of measurement and different full scale ranges can be set for each
sample stream
- A wide range of sample concentrations may be measured on the multiple streams because
of the unique rinsing system
- Required sample flow rate: Approx. 10 L/min
- A low-flow (LF) model has been newly added to the product lineup. (Required sample
flow rate: 1 to 2 L/min)
