USEPA specifies the analytical guidelines that maintain the safety of drinking water
using the EPA Method 524.2. This method requires accurate analytical procedures
and quality control testing for the VOCs determination. The EPA software (option)
evaluates and reports according to these requirements. The method file of GCMS solution
specialised for EPA524.2 is provided (option).
The USEPA Method 525.2 is the analytical method used to determine semi-volatile
organic compounds (SVOCs) in drinking water, source water and finished drinking
water under the guidance of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The
EPA method 525.2 requires numerous quality controls (QC). The GCMS-QP2010 Ultra
or SE with the EPA software (option) satisfies these requirements of QC. The method
file of GCMS solution specialised for EPA525.2 is provided (option).
Using the method files of the GCMS solution for the EPA 524.2 and 525.2 the analysis
of volatiles and semi-volatiles is simple and straightforward.
